DRAGON-SONG

In a dream from a distant land I awoke
With words of a secret that mystery spoke
Weaving visions of Dragons rising in place
Revealing a secret of mystical grace.

Seeker of knowledge, of wisdom and Light,
I hear now his song, as it pierces the night
Behold the beauty, the mists are revealing,
The truth that is blinding, yet blessedly healing.

Seek I petal, or thorn, hidden under the skin
Provoking or soothing, truth echoes within.
Thorns of the rose, are so sharp! Yet they beckon,
Come learn of realities, truth, and perception.

Directing and guiding, the Dragon breaths fire.
Exquisite, his song echoes endless desire
Astounding this Angel with breathless delight
Potential and purpose, his promise is bright

To teach if persistent enough for the task
Of seeking and knocking, and knowing to ask
For the essence of truth, once hidden inside.
Let loose the secret! My soul doth abide -

In continuous growth to this earthly scheme
In the school that life offers, if only I dream.
With constant devotion the Dragon reveals
That gentle compassion will break through the seal.

The truth I have known from the day of my birth.
Of promise, potential, and purpose, on earth
Now Angel and Dragon teach unfettered love
Commanding my spirit on wings from above

This angel has waited, the time now is right
To clear out my eyes and to renew my sight.
A promise was granted - before ages past,
The song of the Dragon finds freedom at last.
