DARK COMBAT
The heart filled with sorrow,
The shattering of hope waiting for tomorrow,
The grief stricken eyes,
An unwritten account of all the lies,
The people who raise their fingers,
The after taste of defeat that still lingers,
The hand that gave me support, And showed me how to fight,
Is no where in sight,
The need to succeed, The desire to win,
The power that I must channel from with in,
The enemies that are now hidden,
I will expose,
The armour for this battle I have chose,
I set foot on the battlefield, The truth is my spear,
The truth is the only thing left to hear,
My innocence is my dagger,
Against which all lies will stagger, My faith is my shield,
The true power of a believer shall be revealed,
The lips of bystanders sealed,
Every attack by my enemies fails,
Once again over evil good prevails,
In the favour of good the all mighty tips the scale
