Re: I Closed my Eyes I had a Dream
I really enjoyed that Saraphina, my favorite line was "then daylight shook off the freedom of the night."
Well done,

I Closed my Eyes I had a Dream
I closed my eyes, I had a dream.
Where-in I stood in an endless stream
Bathed in the brilliance of garden delights
Flowers grew wild, trees grew tall, I heard the night bird sing
There is elegant beauty in the simplest things
I closed my eyes, I had a dream
I open my mind, my heart sailed free
I become a part of all I could see
Sheathed in the splendor of an Eden grown wild
Daisies are dancing and Oak trees stretch high, how space and time flow
This dream world is shifting the world that I know
I open my mind, my heart sails free
My spirit lifts up, my laughter rings out
Here be-bops a fairy, wings flitting about
There playing a fiddle is a wise bearded wizard
Fountains are spraying and droplets glint bright, now the garden's alive
Sensations free wheeling like bees in a hive
My spirit lifts up, my laughter rings out
I lift up voice, my soul song sings out
My heart song finds freedom, from worry and doubt
In the garden's design and enchantments attire
I'm adorned with delight and alight with desire, the sweet magical charm
Of this fantasy's garden has me wrapped in it's arms
I lift up my voice, my soul song sings out
I closed my eyes, I had a dream
I opened my mind, my spirit sprang free
Memories were flooded with laughter and song
My heart was afire and my soul danced along
For a moment in time, life was free of constraints, and all seemed so right
Then daylight shook off the freedom of night
I closed my eyes, I had a dream………
